I hope that you'll come to Sunol this Saturday, April 26 at 10:30am. I know there are birthday parties and baseball games and playdates and dance recitals and everything else. But we will have time together, room to run, places to explore, fresh air to breathe, a creek to splash in, Vitamin D to soak up, and so much more. Friends and family are welcome. It's really good stuff.
Sunol is east of Union City in a valley where Alameda Creek flows. We'll meet at the foot bridge, just past the kiosk and near the Old Green Barn Visitor Center. Bring food, water, water shoes, sun protection, and curiosity. A change of clothes are a good thing to have in the car. A blanket or towel is a nice-to-have.
More about how all this works is over here. Past trips to Sunol can be seen here. Directions to Sunol are here.
There are a few parking lots to choose from (or search for a spot in). If you come late, look for a silver Prius that loves penguins and on the back windshield will be maps. We're headed towards Little Yosemite. I don't think there's cell coverage there.
Hope to see you Saturday!
